no PERL animore.
use more modern scripting or programming languages -
Provide software/model to test own work against
-
-
-
Not a fan of PERL!
-
Perhaps another scriptiong language? Python would have been good.
-
I felt that the length of some of the assignments were a little too long.
-
-
-
The recomendation for Perl was poorly thoughtout because Perl has such poor toll (IDE) support. This (unneccesarily) increased the workload making all of my other courses suffer. Perhaps Java is not well suited but there are many other languages with much better support.
-
Because of the high workload I was often frustrated by this course.
-
The tutors presented everything very well and the problems were very interesting (if not relevant to my carreer).
