student government
I have got very divers hobbies. Although I'm not especially sportive,
I like bicycling. I like it best, when doing long tours with the
luggage on the bike. I have been to the French Mediterranean coast in
a group of three people. Two times i went with another group in
Europe. We explored the banks of Rhine and Moselle in Germany (2000),
and the valley of the Inn and the Danube in Austria (2001).
Because cycling is not that much fun in the winter, I prefer alpine
skiing then. Since I went skiing for more then 25 years now, it
needs a mogul slopes and/or deep powder snow to pose a challenge. But
I don't refuse a straight and wide slope for carving. The last times I
choose the central
sport for the Munich academia to went on skiing holiday, because of
the fair prices.
For a few years now, I got into role playing. I prefer pen and paper
systems, but I like computer-based systems as well. Sometimes I join
in live games, as well. I think that playing a dwarf is in my nature.
Therefore i have played divers of those characters from a fighter
to a priest. At last i played a noble ranger in our group. From
the beginning of 2005 on, I was playing in a new group
a physician. We were playing a future campaign in space after the GURPS

I got involved with the student government since the beginning of my
study. At first I administered the computers of the students representatives of my
faculty, and represented our faculty in university-wide bodies.
After that i was elected as officer for finances, of the AStA (student government) of
the Technical University of Munich. In addition I was involved with
the organisation of many party's and festivals. Doing that, I learned
a lot about fast problem solving and motivation of others. By now, I
successfully turned this job over to my successor and I am glad about
the spare time.
